WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
& DO TO SUPPORT ME
Money Management - Rosa sometimes works at the register and can correctly count dollar bills, but has trouble counting change. She is unsure of coin denominations.
Staying Focused on a Task - Rosa sometimes want to do multiple tasks at once, but will forget the steps to the task she was originally working on so she needs redirection to work only on one thing at a time.
Communication - Rosa is a great communicator, but sometimes won't communicate if she has questions about a task or if she needs help and will need to be prompted. Sometimes she may also expect a coach to do something for her without asking.
Attention to Detail - Rosa needs support in washing dishes and cleaning her work areas. Sometimes she will miss a spot or skip over a spot to clean and the dish or work area will still need to be cleaned.
What does the coach need to do to provide support?
The coach should be supporting Rosa in each of her tasks to make sure she is following the steps to each recipe or task properly.
The coach should also be prompting Rosa on which task is next, based on importance Rosa may need support to keep the importance of the task at the forefront.
Rosa loves to work independently and can set up her whole line by herself, but she does need support with the smaller things like making sure she uses the right containers, keeping track of timers for rice and beans.
Encourage Rosa to communicate what she needs or if she needs any help.
