WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
& DO TO SUPPORT ME
Yelling/Hitting:
-
I need to be reminded not to yell while out in the community. I also need to be reminded not to hit you or others. Instead of yelling/hitting remind me to use my words “I need a break please”. I don’t like loud noises and may begin to yell, remind me to have a quiet mouth. I will yell or run away when something upsets me or when I don’t want to follow directions.
Focus On The Task:
-
I sometimes will lose focus on my tasks, redirect then praise me to continue working on what I was asked to do and work fast.
Work Well With Others:
-
I need help on how to work well with others as sometimes by showing me how to properly communicate and work as a team.
Engaging:
-
Keeping me engaged at all times whether it’s at work or a Fun Friday is very important, I need you to praise constantly and consistently with high fives and fist bumps. After giving me instructions wait at least 5 seconds so that I can process them.
