CPR & First-Aid Certification (AED) – Required for New Hires Hello Motivators!, As part of your onboarding requirements, all new hires who are required to obtain a CPR & First-Aid Certification (AED) must complete the certification outlined below. Clear Motivations is a community-based adult day program serving adults with disabilities. This Adult Employment Program helps integrate those with disabilities into the workforce. Where it all Started Motivate My Closet in Anaheim was established around 2017 as part of the nonprofit organization Clear Motivations. It was created to empower adults with disabilities by giving them hands-on job training and real work experience through a thrift store setting. Starting as a small community shop, it provided affordable secondhand clothing while helping participants build skills like customer service, teamwork, and independence. Over time, it became more than just a store. It was a supportive environment where people could grow in confidence and prepare for future employment. Sadly, Motivate My Closet has since closed its doors. While its physical space is gone, its impact remains meaningful. It showed how a simple idea—combining retail with purpose—can create real opportunities and change lives. Its legacy lives on in the individuals it supported and in the reminder that businesses can be built not just for profit, but for community and empowerment. Meet the People who Made it Happen! Motivate My Closet was a one-of-a-kind thrift store with one-of-a-kind employees! With MMC it has successsfully given employemnt to 55 employees! Circle of Success Nenetzi is the proud business owner of Circle of Success! She handmakes these beautiful bracelets out of colorful rubber bands. Each rubber band represents a journey of hard work, that in the end turns into a successful outcome! Make a Difference! Meet our Area 24 specialist At Motivate My Closet, there was another great area that was out of this world! The Machine Specialist was in charge of maintenance and tinkering away on the newest machine. Andre was the best and assisted everyone with any issues they had. If anybody had any trouble in the galaxy, Andre was on it and accommodated everyone from every star. Thank you for the Support! From our opening in 2017 to when our doors close in 2026. Being part of the community has been MMC’s greatest honor. We look forward to seeing you all in the next endeavor.
