WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME
I love to work for the front seat! I don’t like to share the front seat with the rest of the group and I might get upset if someone else gets it so please make sure to explain the importance of taking turns if I don’t get to sit in the front.
I love to listen to Selena. My favorite songs include: Dreaming of You, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, and Baila Esta Cumbia
I love to have all of your attention! If for any reason I feel like you are not paying attention to me, I might get upset and walk off. ***To prevent this, make sure to always check in with me to prevent me from getting upset.
I love to be told when I am doing a great job, it keeps me positive.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW & DO TO SUPPORT ME
Sense of Urgency:
I have a tendency to walk and move very slowly. I know that this is something I need to work on if I want to get hired in the future. You can help me by setting clear expectations and your need for me to keep up with the rest of the group. Keep me in front of the group so I know I am in the lead and should pick up the pace.
I do not know how to read or write. That being said, I have difficulty communicating with peers, coaches, and managers. You can help by sounding out words with me and having me repeat and practice them.
I am very emotional and I need constant attention and reassurance from you. If I don’t get that from you, I can become negative and try for your attention whether it is good or bad attention. You can help me by reminding me of what I am working for and reminding me to stay positive.
I need you to set expectations after getting in the car to put my seatbelt on and stay in the car until instructed by you when it is safe to get out. Please make sure the child lock on the car is on wherever I am sitting in your car.
