Day at the Mall

Let’s have a shopping scavenger hunt! You will be visiting your local mall or shopping center with the group. Using the list provided, try and find as many things as possible. You can also create or add items to your list. During your visit, participants can make purchases if needed to practice their money management. Make sure they don’t spend their lunch money!

Theme: Money Management

Location: Local mall/shopping center

Materials Needed: Paper, pen, scavenger list.

Lunch: $10

Activity Breakdown:

1. Create a “shopping”/scavenger hunt list with your group or use the one provided.
2. Start your hunt! Walk around the mall and find as many items as possible and mark them off the list.
3. For lunch, visit the food court and choose your lunch.
4. Complete we-talk during lunch.
5. If you did not find everything on the list, continue the hunt after lunch before heading home.
