CREATE A RESUME You will be using CANVA to create your resume. How to make your own resume using the CM resume template Step 1: After logging in, look for the CM resume template CM Resume Template Step 2: Click on then make a copy of the template Click on "Make a copy" Step 3: After making a new copy, rename the resume template Type in your participant's name Step 4: Open the file and fill out the form with your participant's information Examples of skills and abilities: 1) Customer service 2) Attention to detail 3)Teamwork 4) Organization 5) Reliable 6 Willing to learn new tasks 7) Adaptability to changes Note for coaches: Only use the participant's CM email created. Do not use the participant’s phone number. Use the participant’s Caseload manager’s number. If you don’t know, contact the Scheduling Department. Education: Start with Clear Motivations' work training program and then high school. Work experience: Start with their current job or internship site. If needed, reach out to the Scheduling Department to get that information. Internship sites count as work experience, too. Include if your participant is bilingual.

Top of Page SERVICES WE OFFER Internship Training Employment First Internship Training (1:4) Participants will train at internship sites within their community, such as The 99 Cents Store, Smart & Final, CVS, Staples, and many other locations. Our internship program focuses on six essential qualities that shape a successful employee: Having a Strong Work Ethic Being Dependable Being Self-Motivated Being Team Orientated Having Effective Communication Training will be in a 1:4 ratio for approximately 3 hours. Internship Training Employment First (1:1) CM provides 1:1 job coach support to those who have obtained employment and completed the internship program. Clear Motivations provides transportation and job coaching support throughout the participant’s work shift. Our coaches don’t just stop at support, we make sure to help the participant go above and beyond to show their employer they are capable of moving up in the company. We’ve had many stories of participants earning a promotion at their job site. If for any reason there is no room for growth and the participant would like to move up in their field, we have coaches available for that kind of support. The Regional Center of Orange County must provide a referral Step 2 Once a referral is received, the CM office will contact the individual for an intake meeting. If CM and the individual agree that placement is appropriate, then the individual must contact their case worker Step 3 The caseworker will contact CM with the individual's decision to move forward, then CM will provide an electronic enrollment form Step 4 Once submitted and reviewed, the individual will be placed on the CM's waiting list by location
