SERVICES WE OFFER

In-Person Services

Internship Training:

Participants will have an opportunity to train at an internship site such as 99 cents store, Smart & Final, CVS, and Marshall’s. 

 

Our internship program focuses on 6 important qualities that shape a successful employee: 

  • Having a Strong Work Ethic

  • Being Dependable

  • Being Self-Motivated

  • Being Team Orientated

  • Having Effective Communication

Training will be in a 1:1 setting for approximately 2 hours. Safety measures will be followed accordingly at all internship sites. Each member of our staff has gone through extensive training on how to follow CDC guidelines and ensure the safety of not only themselves, but their participant as well.

Community Outings:

Participants can choose to have activities outside their home or out in the community. Clear Motivations coaches will not be able to go inside the participant’s home. Activities are focused in the following areas: Health & Fitness, Independent Living, Social Skills, and Employment. 

All activities will be tailored and individualized to the participant’s goals and person-centered plan. They will be conducted in a 1:1 setting and masks must be worn by the coach and participant at all times, we take the health and safety of our participants and staff seriously. Each member of our staff has gone through extensive training on how to follow CDC guidelines and ensure the safety of not only themselves, but their participant as well. 

 

Remote Services

Video Conferencing:

For those participants that feel more comfortable meeting via video web chat, we have created online activities that focus on the following areas: Health & Fitness, Independent Living, Social Skills, and Employment. We want to provide that consistent training to our participants by delivering safety and comfort for everyone. 

 

CM coaches will use Google Meet, a free app that we use to connect with the participant. All sessions will be tailored and individualized to the participant goals and person-centered plan. 

Online activities can be in a 1:1 or group setting and can range from 1.5 to 2 hours.

Families will receive a daily activity recap through email completed by the coach and participant. We believe communication is key!

Wellness Checks:

For those who prefer only phone calls, a CM coach will contact the participant to see how they are doing. Clear Motivations goal is to ensure that all participants have someone to talk with during these challenging times.

 

Employment First

Employment First:

CM provides 1:1 job coach support to those who have obtained employment and completed the internship program. Clear Motivations provides transportation and job coaching support throughout the participant’s work shift.  

Our coaches don’t just stop at support, we make sure to help the participant go above and beyond to show their employer they are capable of moving up in the company. We’ve had many stories of participants earning a promotion at their job site. If for any reason there is no room for growth and the participant would like to move up in their field, we have coaches available for that kind of support. Our coaches will build a resume and conduct mock interviews with the participant to get them ready for that next step in their career.
