    Clear Motivations is a community-based adult day program serving adults with disabilities. This Adult Employment Program helps integrate those with disabilities into the workforce. CREATE A RESUME You will be using CANVA to create your resume. How to make your own resume using the CM resume template Step 1: After logging in, look for the CM resume template CM Resume Template Step 2: Click on then make a copy of the template Click on "Make a copy" Step 3: After making a new copy, rename the resume template Type in your participant's name Step 4: Open the file and fill out the form with your participant's information Examples of skills and abilities: 1) Customer service 2) Attention to detail 3)Teamwork 4) Organization 5) Reliable 6 Willing to learn new tasks 7) Adaptability to changes Note for coaches: Only use the participant's CM email created. Do not use the participant’s phone number. Use the participant’s Caseload manager’s number. If you don’t know, contact the Scheduling Department. Education: Start with Clear Motivations' work training program and then high school. Work experience: Start with their current job or internship site. If needed, reach out to the Scheduling Department to get that information. Internship sites count as work experience, too. Include if your participant is bilingual.

    Understanding Personal Space & How to Respond to Unwanted Hugs Participant's Name* Coach's Name* Coach's Email* Activity 1: Personal Space Circle Objective: Teach what personal space is and how to recognize boundaries. Materials Needed: Hula hoop or masking tape Visuals showing “Too Close,” “Just Right,” “Too Far” Instructions: Create a circle around the participant using a hula hoop or floor tape. Explain that this is their personal space bubble . Have others approach slowly and ask the participant to say “Stop” when they feel someone is too close. Discuss how everyone has a right to their space and how it’s okay to ask for space.     Safety Activity: What to Do if My ACCESS Bus Doesn’t Arrive on Time? What should you do? 📱 Always Have Your Cell Phone Make sure your phone is charged and with you every single day . 📞 Contact the Right Person If your coach has left and your bus is still not there, call your assigned scheduling coordinator. 🪑 Wait in the Safe Location Stay at (e.g) Tacos La Calle and wait patiently. ⚠️ Do not leave the area —your bus will not wait or come looking for you if you’re not there. 🧠 Quick Quiz!     Kickball Communication Trail Focus: Involves throwing a kickball, coordinated movement, and emphasizes communication, sensory regulation, and focus Participant's Name* Coach's Name* Coach's Email* 🔶 Overview Goal: Improve motor skills, focus, and expressive communication while engaging in a sensory-friendly physical task. Setting: Open grassy area in a park with visual boundaries (e.g., anything available!) Duration: 30–45 minutes (adjustable) 🔁 Activity Description Objective: The participant moves side-to-side (laterally) between two markers and throws a kickball to the coach each time, while also practicing a simple communication or focus task. 🗺️ Setup: Markers: Place 3 items in a row, about 5–6 feet apart (Left, Center, Right). Coach: Stands about 6–8 feet in front of the center cone with a ball. Ball: A soft kickball or lightweight therapy ball 🔄 Step-by-Step Instructions: 1. Start at the Left Coach gently tosses the ball to the participant. Participant catches the ball and says (e.g., “My favorite food is?” or “My favorite hobby is?”) then throws the ball back to the coach. Coach gives praise! 2. Move to Right Participant side-steps (or walks) to the right. Repeat: catch, respond to a prompt, throw. 3. Continue a total of 10 rounds, alternating between left and right. 🔄 Focus & Communication Prompts (examples) You can rotate or ask get-to-know-you questions.
